Whistler Pride 2019 Festival Talent

Whistler Pride and Ski Festival is less than a week away and it’s time to get to know the talent that will make this year’s events extra special. With comedians, an iconic queen, and a grammy-nominated DJ/Producer – this year’s lineup has it all! There’s something for everyone!

Caroline Reid (a.k.a. Pam Ann)

Pam Ann at Whistler Pride 2019Iconic international celebrity airhostess Pam Ann has evolved since first jetting out of her hometown of Melbourne 20 years ago.  Pam – the alter-ego of Australian comedian-writer-producer Caroline Reid – has developed a cult like status both here and overseas with her masterful portrayal of an International hostie.

When she’s not jet-setting with the stars or flying the world sourcing material for her next performance, she can be found selling-out every stage she hits – from New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom to San Francisco’s Castro Theatre, Sydney’s iconic State Theatre to Melbourne’s Athenaeum. She’s headlined at the legendary Caroline’s on Broadway in New York, performed at the prestigious London Palladium, The Royal Albert Hall and sold out 2 shows at the 3600 seat Hammersmith Apollo – her largest solo audience to date. True to her status as an international comedy icon, she’s toured UK, Ireland, Australia, Hong Kong, USA, Germany, Israel, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Belgium, France and Canada.

They received a grammy nomination the Grammy nomination for their work on Rihanna’s “Only Girl In the World”.

On his own, DJ Abel’s name is synonymous with nights (and mornings) of relentless cha-cha influenced beats that keep people dancing for hours. He has headlined nearly every major gay party weekend and in the world. Of late, he has taken to spearheading a revolution in the party scene with RESISTa series of progressive underground parties that showcase his love for the darker, techy side of house music.
